The company secretary course is divided into three programs:

Foundation | Executive |Professional
 

Eligibility :

• 12th pass with any discipline
• Foundation Pass or Graduation with any discipline for executive course 

C.S. FOUNDATION PROGRAM (Course revised from 1st Feb. 2012)

This is a gateway to the course of Company Secretary. A Student is eligible to register for the same after passing class X & can appear for the test after passing/appearing class XII. Some of the features of the Course are: (as information received till this bulletin is printing)
(i) Student need to register for the course by filling a simple application from costing Rs. 50/-. The registration fee for the same is Rs. 3,600/-
(ii) Exam will be held twice in a year (June, December). Cut off dates for getting registrations are as follows: For December Exams (31stMarch) & For June Exams(previous year's 30 September)
(iii) All papers will be of objective type.
(iv) Course will be comprises of four subjects viz

• Business Environment and Entrepreneurship • Business Management, Ethics and Communication • Business Economics • Fundamentals of Accounting and Auditing.

(v) At least 50% marks aggregate are required to pass the exams and 40% in individual subject. 

C.S. EXECUTIVE PROGRAM

After passing foundation exams or completing the graduation, a student can register with the institute for executive program. A students is then registered with the institute and he is required to complete the executive & professional program. Course fee is Rs. 7000/- for commerce graduate student and Rs. 7750/- for Non-commerce graduate student and Rs. 6500/- for CS Foundation passed out student.
Course consist of 2 Groups of 3 papers each of 100 marks having the following subjects viz:

Group-I: (i) Company Accounts, Costing and Management Accounting (ii) General & Commercial Law and (iii) Taxation
Group-II: (i) Company Law (ii) Economic and Labour Law and (iii) Securities Law. Cut off dates for registration in intermediate Course are
 

For June Attempt: Previous Year's 31 st August (for both group), 30th November (for one group)
 

For December Attempt: 28th February (for both group), 31 st May (for one group) Minimum 50% aggregate of marks are required to pass the exam and individual 40% marks in each subject. A candidate will be eligible for appearing into executive program only after completing 70 hrs. of compulsory training conducted by institutions approved by ICSI in respective cities.

 

C.S. PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM
 

A student is admitted to professional program on passing the executive program and only completion of 9 months from passing executive program and have to appear for the examination consist of 4 module of 2 papers each of 100 marks each. Fee for course is Rs. 7,500/-

 

PRACTICAL TRAINING Every registered student has to undergo a practical training as per ICSI norms.
