About CWA

The Cost Work Accountant course is divided into 3 steps:

Foundation | Intermediate |Final

Eligibility:

• 12th pass or appearing with any discipline for foundation course
• Foundation Pass or Graduate Pass with any discipline for executive course
 
C.W.A. FOUNDATION

A student need to register with the Institute of Cost and Work Accountant of India for the course. Registration can be obtained by filling forms and sending a draft of Rs. 3500/-. Exams are conducted twice a year, in the month of June and December. Cut off dates for get registrations are as follows: For 
December Exams- 26th June & For June Exams - 18th December 

Foundation course comprises of following 4 Subject of 100 marks:
 
(i) Organization and Management
(ii) Financial Accountancy
(iii) Economics & Business Fundamental
(iv) Business Mathematics and Statistics.
Minimum 50% Marks in aggregate and 40% marks in individual Subject are required to pass the exams. 

C.W.A. INTERMEDIATE

After passing the foundation exams or completing the graduation, a student can register with the institute & he is required to complete the intermediate and final examination.
Course consist of 2 groups of 4 papers each of 100 Marks. Minimum 50% aggregate of marks and individual 40% marks in each subject is required to clear a group.
 
C.W.A. FINAL

A student is admitted to final course on passing the intermediate examination and have to appear for the examination consist of 2 groups of 4 papers each of 100 marks each.
At least 50% marks are required to pass the exams, aggregate in the both the session.
 
PRACTICAL TRAINING

Every registered student has to undergo a practical training for 3 years.
